Engineering & Technical Disclaimer
Metrik MFG provides practical calculation, reference, and educational resources. Outputs are not professional engineering certification, a signed engineering opinion, a safety approval, a machining guarantee, or a substitute for the requirements of your drawing, contract, governing code, standard, machine manual, tooling manufacturer, material supplier, or qualified professional.
Verify before production
Always verify critical results before applying them to production, inspection, purchasing, process approval, machine setup, structural work, safety-related work, or customer deliverables. Confirm units, tolerances, material condition, machine capability, tooling, workholding, process assumptions, and applicable standards.
Manufacturing variability
Cutting data, material properties, tool life, power demand, costs, cycle times, tolerances, bend behavior, and other manufacturing outputs can vary materially with equipment, operator practice, heat treatment, lot variation, geometry, coolant, rigidity, environment, supplier data, and process conditions.
Safety
Do not use a Metrik MFG result to override machine safety systems, lockout/tagout procedures, guarding requirements, manufacturer limits, workplace safety rules, or applicable law.
References
Where practical, Metrik MFG identifies formulas, assumptions, and source material so users can independently check the method. See the Sources & Calculation Methodology page for more detail.
